Hi,

Currently my 2015 C4 Picasso has no air coming from the heater. I suspect it is one of the two (or both!) mentioned in the subject line (Heater Blower Motor / Resistor). There is a smell of something that has burnt out when i am driving, even though I have shut the heating system off.

Would the location for the motor and/or resistor be under the passenger side inside the vehicle where the glovebox lives? Has anyone attempted to replace this on a B78?

I have the Citroen Workshop Manual on CD, but only shows for older version of C4 Picasso.

Sorry in advance if this has already been asked and answered.

Many thanks,

David

Hi David,
I had a simular issue, except my heater fan was running at high speed.
I was advised it could be the Fan Resistor / Control Module.
This is hidden behind the trim panels under the steering wheel.
I'm not entirely sure how to attach images on here.
So check out the link below to another post I put up asking for help.
There is some easy to follow instructions.

If you have the same resistor as my vehicle (Denso DRS21008) it will cost you about £141 from Citroen and there is a good chance they won't have one in stock.
Do a search online and you should be able to pick one up for about £40 to £60.
Mine cost me £43.
You'll need a small 5.5mm socket to remove the unit.
Hope this helps.
Zane
