Has anyone any info on these things and if they are any good? Citroën are advertising them at the moment and I was wondering if it was woth 150 beer tokens? |

There are a number of wheel protection companies of which alloygator is one. They are advertised online circa £80 for a set of 4 so Citroen are charging £70 to fit.I would certainly have a look at alternative protectors before committing yourself. My neighbour has just had them fitted (DIY) and they do look very nice.

I’d rather have kerbed alloys, I think they look awful. Actually, I’d rather park properly! |

My C4P came with 17" Anaconda alloy wheels and Michelin tyres, but the tyres give the rims no protection at all. When they wore out I replaced them with Dunlop Sport which has a sidewall profile that bulges out beyond the rim and protects it. There are several other tyre brands which also provide rim protection.
