Has anyone any info on these things and if they are any good?

Citroën are advertising them at the moment and I was wondering if it was woth 150 beer tokens?

There are a number of wheel protection companies of which alloygator is one. They are advertised online circa £80 for a set of 4 so Citroen are charging £70 to fit.I would certainly have a look at alternative protectors before committing yourself. My neighbour has just had them fitted (DIY) and they do look very nice.

I’d rather have kerbed alloys, I think they look awful.

Actually, I’d rather park properly!

My C4P came with 17" Anaconda alloy wheels and Michelin tyres, but the tyres give the rims no protection at all. When they wore out I replaced them with Dunlop Sport which has a sidewall profile that bulges out beyond the rim and protects it. There are several other tyre brands which also provide rim protection.
