Hi
i'm replacing clutch in 2005 C4 Hdi 1.6l. Have finally removed start motor, clutch slave, etc etc and all bolts. Have jack under the engine and another under transmission. I just can't get the transmission to separate from the engine - tried adjusting the bearing of the weights across the two jacks and the height and brute force but its like its welded together
Any suggestions?
cheers

Changed loads of clutches but not a C4, Had a few that the spigot shaft has seized into the flywheel bearing, the bearing wouldnt fit through the clutch plate, If you can pull it back enough to get a spanner onto the pressure plate bolts and remove them, the the all lot will come apart then you can sort it from there
