I've been thinking about it. It's about 50 pounds for a pair plus taxes if applied. Could be fun to try out.

I just looked at that site but the problem with such site is the back up service should you have any problems and paying for them, as I normally only pay with PayPal I have seen them on Amazon (I have a prime Account) They are a lot more expensive but if you have any problems Amazon have a good customer service so would feel more confident to buy from them plus they send you a prepaid return label should you have to return or replace due to a problem.
I was hoping someone had already fitted them this site:( I've looked at the review (only one ) and the buyer was very pleased
I did ask the question to the seller :- "Is there more heat from the higher rated D5S that could effect the Polycarbonated glass ?" They replied that they don't create any extra heat. . The only other problem would they be OK for MOT?

I would have ordered them but have a problem with my rear brakes and have to replace two disc and pads and may have to replace Caliper so need to prepare the financial shock

Know what you mean. But have ordered alot of different bulbs from China, and only used customer service once for a fog light unit that didn't work. Payed 1$ in shipping, and got a new replacement. So I'm not to afraid of buying overseas.
My rear disc's and pads are also done soon, so I'm in the same boat. Don't think it will be a issue with MOT, because the cutoff will still be correct.

Is it these ones you've been looking at? - Click Here -

I found some 35W D5S lights on eBay a lot cheaper but think they would take a lot longer to deliver although they do offer a "Best Offer" and have free delivery so maybe I could ask if they would offer express delivery if I pay the "Buy Now" price plus I have the added advantage of eBay & PayPal Bay if any problems
Assuming that the bulbs are as good as the other bulbs

eBay item number:223253524633

I got in touch with the seller on Ebay who agreed to send the bulbs via DHL for the price of 113 US dollars for a pair of bulbs so fingers crossed

I just need to get some unrated bulbs for the main beam but such a wide range to pick from. But think will stick to the 120%/130% any higher the life span looks very very low

Okay great. Looking forward to hear your experience with them. I've got a set of Philips X-treme Ultinon H7 LED in my main beams. They're great, albeit a bit expensive.

D5S bulbs are impossible to fit wrongly because of the base, and the way they're mounted. Cutoff will still be correct because of the projector.

Wow that Philips LED is very expensive and very powerful, I can see why its not legal on UK roads but having looked at many H7 LED bulbs very few are deemed to be legal and most seem to have a wide disperse of light rather than a narrower beam at the moment I am leaning towards the Philips Xtreme Extreme Vision H7 +130% ( The last time I change bulbs on other cars I called the AA to change the bulbs as you have to have nimble fingers which I don't )

That is correct, LED bulbs tend to have a little more flood than spotlight. X-treme vision is also a great halogen bulb, but it doesn't have that instant on/off effect (which I love).
I find the backside of the C4GP headlight to be very accessible, and easy to change bulbs. There's also a fair amount of available space on the inside.

This is my current light setup.

I ordered the D5S 35w and they arrived within 4 days so now waiting for the up-rated H7 and H11 (fog light) to delivered so will have all bulbs fitted at same time.
The only thing the worries me is the MOT as I was hoping to have done before fitting the bulbs, but the first available date is the 11 Jan

Wow, that was quick! Do you have any info on where they were sent from? (country).

I takes 10 min max to change the bulbs. Will order a pair next month I think.
