Revs Dropping 2010 C4 Diesel Auto

 Hi All,

I have a 2010 Citroen C4 Exclusive 1.6 Diesel Auto (semi auto)

When the car is cold or for 5 to 10 mins after start up the revs keep dropping.

Sometimes a little hesitant when accelerating

I'm thinking it could be battery not holding charge?

Any help is appreciated.

 I'd suspect the fuel system rather than electrics. The fuel filter would be a good starting point.

 I have given the car a full service including new fuel filter.

Did you replace the filters with Citroen units or pattern one's. Non Citroen filters have been know to cause problems.

 Our C4 1.6hdi SX does the same. Turns out one or more glow plug(s) have died. The exhaust is quite smelly too, due to unburned fuel.

I will fix it as soon as i find why the ABS system is dead....
