2005 Citroen C4 - I have had an issue with the AC blower fan not working, though the actual AC was on (I.E. I can change the fan through the fan controls/etc). I read online that it is apparently the BSM (under bonnet fusebox) which is fairly costly to replace.

Instead of doing so you can bridge two wires to make it work (the two stout wires). as shown here from another thread I found:

I tested this, it actually works fine and the AC works again. I am worried however that doing this with a fuse isn't enough and' you'd need a relay/something to delay it from starting on the go.

Eventually I'll get the whole fuse system replaced but I don't have the coin for that right now.

Thanks!

I would be careful about shorting those:
Pin 1 - Output +APC (built-in systems interface)
Pin 2 - Output Air conditioning motor control

- Click Here - You may need a relay to power the device as this has a small power limit.

Thanks both.

I'm actually going to go get a BSM from a junked car and try to see if I can replace it or get a shop to replace it instead of this. It does work but it's just a temp hack

Would you still recommend this hack ? I've got a 30A inline fuse and am going to try it out next week.
