I am wondering what's the best MPG that anyone has got from their GP as I have just got 62.7 mpg over a 2,000+ trip with my GP

Best is about 60mpg (on a 200mile trip in 1 day)

Average (combined driving of 1600 miles both motorway+local)= 48mpg

2014, 1.6 Excl +, e-HDI, Auto

Yes via computer. . I was a little suprised as normaly get about 57mpg and if I do a round trip to northern Ireland could be about 59mpg but just did a trip to spain hence the 62.7

The reason I ask is that although the computer figures on our C4GP and newer C3 are quite accurate compared to calculations from fill-ups, 2 cars I have had have been wildly inaccurate eg our 61 reg C3 tellys you it is doing high 60s mpg, and in reality struggles to reach 60mpg.

What pleased me more is having a good range of a full fill. I filled up in spain @ 1.12 euro(per Litre) and not having to put any more fuel till I got to Athy in Ireland but still not as good as my old VW passat est which had a range of over 900mile on a full tank

900miles on a full tank... wow thats amazing. Either your VW is very fule efficient or the tank must be hugeeeeeee in size.

I was surprised as I filled up in Ireland drove to Kent spend a week there and filled up when I returned Ireland, not sure what year the VW was the only thing that was different was its large wheels, I did have an old Montego 7 seater Est which did 67mpg towing a Trailer Tent to Scotland from cheshire.
I have never found Citroen cars to give as good mpg as VW's and Skoda both gave 70+ mpg both automatic
