I am wondering what's the best MPG that anyone has got from their GP as I have just got 62.7 mpg over a 2,000+ trip with my GP | ||

Best is about 60mpg (on a 200mile trip in 1 day) Average (combined driving of 1600 miles both motorway+local)= 48mpg 2014, 1.6 Excl +, e-HDI, Auto |

Yes via computer. . I was a little suprised as normaly get about 57mpg and if I do a round trip to northern Ireland could be about 59mpg but just did a trip to spain hence the 62.7 | ||

I was a little suprised as normaly get about 57mpg and if I do a round trip to northern Ireland could be about 59mpg but just did a trip to spain hence the 62.7 The reason I ask is that although the computer figures on our C4GP and newer C3 are quite accurate compared to calculations from fill-ups, 2 cars I have had have been wildly inaccurate eg our 61 reg C3 tellys you it is doing high 60s mpg, and in reality struggles to reach 60mpg. |

What pleased me more is having a good range of a full fill. I filled up in spain @ 1.12 euro(per Litre) and not having to put any more fuel till I got to Athy in Ireland but still not as good as my old VW passat est which had a range of over 900mile on a full tank | ||

Either your VW is very fule efficient or the tank must be hugeeeeeee in size. |

I was surprised as I filled up in Ireland drove to Kent spend a week there and filled up when I returned Ireland, not sure what year the VW was the only thing that was different was its large wheels, I did have an old Montego 7 seater Est which did 67mpg towing a Trailer Tent to Scotland from cheshire. I have never found Citroen cars to give as good mpg as VW's and Skoda both gave 70+ mpg both automatic |
