afternoon all feeling a little sad to see her go but the car is a write off and the insurance have giving me £1800. so where do i got from here what would be the ideal replacement for vts?

Well when my VTS was written off, I replaced it with another one and when that was written off I replaced that with another one as well!

So my answer is the ideal replacement for a VTS is another VTS.

spoke to the insurance about buying the car back and apparently it's a total loss so not possible to keep.

Depends on the budget you have, VTS's are pretty cheap to source. Also the 1.6 THP versions can be found for decent money as well.

I liked my VTS was a nice car. I did buy my current Monaro just at the right time when values were absolutely rock bottom. Since then gone back up and my car is worth around £4-£5,000 more than I paid for it now.

Mines up for sale probably end of March, thought £1800 is a good price to be honest.
Not sure what to put mine up for....
