My aerial is goosed, got a dodgy connection inside. I've taken it off and cleaned everything (easy enough, just popped the rear interior light out for access) but if I juggle the wire I get breakups, so the connection is stuffed internally. I can pick up a new base on ebay, and I've seen they have quite a short wire to a connector on them, but I can see the wire on mine disappearing off towards the back of the car. I don't want to rip off the roof lining, so I was hoping to find where the other end of it is, so I can put a pull string on it, pull it through, then pull the replacement back. Or is there a simpler way?

Hi, did you ever get this sorted ? The aerial on my GP has dropped off the signal and I need to have a look at the aerial base to see whats going on.
