Hi there, i have a 2007 1.6HDi Vtr+ EGS with the factory fitted option of the rear parking sensors.
When selecting reverse an audible bleep is heard along with the lcd screen operating to show the reverse parking function is operating, then as you reverse the beeps get faster as you approach an object.
Now as i select reverse no audible beep is heard, no visible indication appears on the lcd screen and no beeping operates whilst reversing. The reversing lights light up as normal.
Any ideas? or experiences of this fault would be appreciated.Thanks.

There should be a manual switch to switch the reversing sensors off when folk are towing. Have you inadvertently switched them off as I have done a number of times?

After locating the switch that i didn't know existed i have now got the sensors working again. I needed to select reverse to get the sensors to be operational then press the switch. I can't understand why they weren't working, but all is good now. Thanks.
