Well, the start/stop on our 2015 1600 HDi switches off with no problem, we now do this if we know our journey is just in our town, (Helensburgh) which has loads of traffic lights.
If its definitely an alternator started engine then I might reconsider doing this.

So far so good with our ownership, excellent fuel economy, very comfortable ride, one wee hassle with tailgate which I'll ask about in another thread.


BTW Our GP only stops, (when in start/stop mode) when car is stationery and clutch is released. Haven't tried a rolling 'in neutral' stop yet.
