Hello! Recently I got a new set of wiper blades for my 2006 coupe. But I noticed that even with the new blades the drivers side wiper was jumping and not fully clearing the screen on one of the strokes. I assumed it was a faulty wiper blade and went back to the place where I bought them. The guy assured me that it was not the wipers but the spring that holds the wiper arm down - the springs seem to get weak with age. Sure enough, the spring in the drivers side wiper arm was noticeably looser with less tension than the spring on the other wiper arm. Anybody have any advise on this? Has anyone experienced this issue? I dont even know what this spring is called which makes searching for answers online a bit more difficult. When I search for springs on this site, it is only answers about the breaking suspension springs! (have had that problem too!) Thanks!! |
