 Problem - even using the full range of adjustment, water just sprays onto the wipers and it takes litres of water to clean the screen properly.

Solution - unclip the washer jets from their housing and relocate only at the front of the housing (nearest the windscreen). This raises the angle of the jets so that water is sprayed onto the screen not the wipers. Despite this 'interference fit' the jets have remained in place.

 That's a good tip. I will try it as soon as soon as it stops raining!

Incidentally, when as was at the dealer a couple of weeks ago, I mentioned this issue and the tech manager said he has heard many complaints about it but there is no official fix.

 I had a similar problems with my screen washers but when I filled up with QUANTUM SCREEN WASH for FINE SPRAY JETS which is designed for spray washers and they worked fine.
I used to use it in my VW & Skoda cars and always found it to be a great screen wash . .Could be the answer to your screen wash problems

 Just out of curiosity has anyone use QUANTUM SCREEN SPRAY SCREEN WASH and did you find it improved the problem
