C4 Loeb 1.6HDi Clutch Problem

 Hi all,

I've just brought a C4 Loeb and it needs a clutch but I've been told there's 2 different ones. The code on the gearbox is 20DM69 I think it reads if anyone can give me the part number for a clutch kit, been told there is a BE4R box and another one any help will be great. Many thanks, alan.

 Looks like you have a 5 speed manual gearbox coupled to the 1.6HDi engine.

The original clutch would be a DMF, but you can replace it with a single plate if you wish.

Have your VIN handy when looking for the new parts.

 No ones asking me for vin number just reg the DMF isn't noisy so
I don't mind just fitting a 3in1 kit in it but just don't know the gear box code never had this kinda trouble before with a clutch

Not really, got the extra cash to get a garage to do it and it gives me something to do in the nice weather.

 2051.Z7 is the part number for a Citroen dealer supplied exchange clutch assembly. Price approx £171 + 20% VAT = £205.
