Not sure if this has been spotted by anyone else here. Today I have a Grand Picasso as a courtesy car, at first I thought it was a Flair model but only the steering wheel was missing half of the controls.
On closer inspection I'm pretty sure it is a Flair model but it seems the steering wheel controls are all as per the base model now. It is a shame because I use the mute button and turn the dash lights off at night too, both those buttons now gone.
No mention of 2 or 4 control zones in the latest price list either.
I wonder what else will change!

Have to say though that the Flair is a big step up from my Exclusive model and think the GCP drive better than my 5 seat version.

Sorry, it actually does mention 2 and 4 zones on steering wheels in the brochure but the one I have, which is a Flair model only has the 2 zone version.

Yes, this change is being phased across the range - we 'lost' the 4-zone buttons when we replaced our old DS4 with the new one. I say 'lost' but we haven't lost anything to be honest as I find the 2-zone set-up much more logical and cleaner, especially with a touch screen (hold the 'down' volume button and it mutes the stereo). The thumb-wheel does most of the work.

The Flair is comparable to the old Exclusive+, it's the 'Feel' that is comparable to the old Exclusive with the 'Touch' being mostly a VTR+

I have a feeling that if you go for one of the Driver Assistance options, that includes Active cruise (with stop function), that these buttons are fitted. There are certainly some Flair models I've seen with the lower buttons fitted. This one is an example:

Personally, I think having blank spaces on the lower part of the steering wheel looks a bit cheap. I also wondered though how you mute the stereo without the buttons fitted.

Here is another Flair with the full button set fitted:

How do you switch through the different stereo sources (SRC) or make the screens go black when you don't have the bottom buttons to do so? Is there an alternative method?

The trapezoidal button on the top right is 'SRC' and allows you to select between Stereo, Radio, CD and DAB - you press it, until it rolls onto the one you want then after about 2 seconds it selects the station. The roller wheel is used for selecting pre-set stations or new stations, and when the telephone is selected this goes between your menu or last calls etc., you press the roller wheel in to change what you are scrolling through; it works very well.

Rather than looking cheap it feels less-burdened; at first I wasn't sure but have got used to it and can rest my palms on the wheel centre without selecting something new!

My current C4P is a company car and I'm changing jobs soon and the C4GP Flair is on the list so it is very handy having one to test for a few days.
Also in the colour I would choose, Lazuli Blue.

It is a choice between that or a BMW X1 SE 2WD or a DS5 Elegance (although the auto is no good for towing).

I'll be in a similar boat next year! I gotta say, I am really tempted with the Lazuli blue..only seen one on the roads so far and it looked really nice.

On the GC4P the blue looks great with the silver detail that runs from the front and along the roof, really very different to other cars.

The new silvery-beige colour is superb, saw it on a C4P the other week and it really suited the car.
