Hi I have bought a 2010 C4 Picasso 1.6HD VTR + EGS Lovely car a few niggles but livable till I sort out. It has a tow bar and I notice this has to be fitted properly how can I tell? I have not used it yet. No Error showing on Cars self Diagnostics.

Thanks

What's your concern? If it's the electrics then a bypass relay works fine, if it's not throwing up an error I wouldn't worry about it.

There's only one way to find out and that's to try towing something. My C4GP has a towbar fitted and the caravan hasn't been used since last October when I still had the Xsara Pic. I had to tow a small trailer a couple of weeks back and fortunately, the vital stuff was working. This would be the best way of testing your towbar.
