take apart and respray with cheap can of black paint and - if you feel adventurous - do the silver too... mebbee inc the alloys themselves |

I bought some gloss black nail varnish in our local pound shop. Didn't want to blacken the silver chevron but only the bits that are meant to be black. One coat is all it takes. And it comes with a controllable brush. Nail varnish remover if you go wrong. Simples. | ||||

I took mine apart completely and spray painted them as well. I did however take the silver bits off too. | ||||
