 Hi All, I purchased my DS4 last year and the tow bar fitting is installed underneath the car including electrics, however the actual neck and ball is missing. It is the Westfalia removable one, part number 304148. To buy that piece alone you are looking at about £250!

I'm hoping that I can fit one meant for another vehicle as they all look to have the same fitment and you can get second hand ones on ebay for around £50.

Just wondering if anyone knew if this would work?

 If those on sale have the same part number, then there will be no problem. Make sure you get the lock key(s)with it and that they work, else your replacement may go missing too!

Did you ever have the tow ball, or did you buy the car with it missing? If so, it's likely that the previous owner kept it for their new car.

 Does anybody already have the detachable Westfalia towbar fitted? Im just looking to find the 6 digit part number of the towball and not the full towbar kit itself. Looks like 304148 may be the number of the full kit hence the £250 price.

I already have the bar so just need the detachable towball.

 Hi,

I've got an aftermarket-fitted Westfalia towbar on my C4 Picasso. This neck/ball looks like this:









The Westfalia part number stamped on the neck is 13172, perhaps you could check with one of the Westfalia UK stockists (see the Westfalia website) about availability?
