Oh drat. Missed out on Apple CarPlay by just a few months. I wasn't sure how they would be able to implement it with the dual display system, but clearly they've found a good way.

More official info should arrive from the 1st June as order books in France open. This has emerged today for French prospective buyers:

Although French specs are different, it'll be interesting if we also see any changes away from the VTR, VTR+, Selection, Exclusive and Exclusive model designation as well.

New interior full leather photo in grey, also in this link - looks very nice, although whether us in the UK have it as an option will remain to be seen. I know in France they also offer a black full leather, which is cheaper than the full nappa black/amber option.

I can't seem to see if it will retain the 18" Alloys for the top end models. Which will be a shame to lose!

Otherwise a lot of nice additions to the car in terms of tech...just a nice upgrade! Still got 2 1/2 years to go before I can change my car! Who knows a whole new C4GP might be on the cards then, rather than a facelift!

The new electronic handbook is now available to view and/or download for the latest C4P/C4GP along with the new Mirrorlink/CarPlay enhanced navigation system manual.

Given that no brochures exist just yet in the UK, it's an opportunity to see how the new features are to work.

See:

- Click Here -

Choose English top right and the select the model and year. The C4 Picasso model now showing from 20/6/2016, features the revised spec.

Interesting to see full voice control is back which I particularly miss on my current car.

Of course, bear in mind that not every feature will be on every car, and some in the handbook may not be fitted to any UK spec cars.

It looks like Citroën have produced some information as the lease company we have at work now quotes the new specification levels and engines but I cannot get any more details (like specifics of each model), petrol models appear to be;

1.2 110 Touch Edition
1.2 130 Touch Edition
1.2 130 Feel
1.2 130 Flair

The Feel and Flair can both be had with the EAT6 transmission, no 1.6 model.

Diesel models;

1.6 100 Touch Edition
1.6 120 Touch Edition
1.6 120 Feel
1.6 120 Flair
2.0 150 Feel
2.0 150 Flair

All can be had with the EAT6 transmission too, Touch Edition included. I can't see if the EAT6 models get 180bhp like much of the PSA range

Unfortunately when I then go to select colour (the stage before the specification shows) it then faults which suggests the information isn't yet complete.

The Grand Picasso is exactly the same except no 1.2 110 Touch Edition.

Assuming the 1.6 100 Touch Edition has the same engine as our C3, I would imaging it is one to avoid, as our car is high-geared with huge gear intervals and is extremely sluggish, especially uphill. With a much bigger heavier body I would imagine it to be very slow!

Yes, you can get that engine in the current Blue 100HDi C4 Picasso and Grand Picasso too - not sure on whether they have shorter gearing though than other models in the range, our old 5-speed C4 Picasso HDi 110 (16v) was reasonably short-geared for a diesel, it was doing 2500rpm at 70 in top, I'd assumed the smaller cars had longer gearing with this engine.

Our C3 is doing 2000rpm at 70mph and is OK when the revs are high enough to keep the turbo spinning. If you are climbing a hill, you need to get up to 2500rpm before you change up, otherwise the torque dies and you have to change back down, often 2 gears. Certainly doesn't have the performance of our 110bhp 6 speed or our 2.0HDi. A C4P may be OK if the gearing is as you indicate, and this will also close up the ratios in the gearbox, although this will be at the expense of fuel consumption.

EDIT. Sorry about the double post. Got distracted.

List prices here - must be due on the Citroën site shortly (the configurator seems to change on a daily basis with models appearing/ disappearing randomly so I suspect they are up to something);

Yeah looking at the car configurator they have lost the 2.0 Diesel.

Also looking at the link for you gave Frank, the top of the range C4GP with the 2.0D Auto is now just over £29k. So the price has gone up as well! Will see what happens when it is released, and if it still has the same equipment as the current one!

If you go via the link in FB's post above you will find a 2.0HDi listed in Feel and Flair trims. There is a typo though as the Feel BlueHDi 150 S&S EAT6 auto is incorrectly listed as a 1.6!
