Quite surprisingly, I hadn't expected Citroen to give so much advance information as they have released today.

New blue paint colour and 3D rear light cluster across the range. Not sure about the other small tweaks outside, although some interesting new technology improvements though. Updates to the SMEG+ touchscreen aligns with the other models in the range.

Take a look here:

I couldn't open the press release link. I'm not sure if I prefer the front end but touchscreen upgrades will be good, shame that I have only just got mine!

So the 2.0Hdi 150 doesn't appear to have an automatic option!

The document is in Word format. Do you have it on your computer, or are you on a phone or tablet?

I think the engines cited in the list are the 'best in class' units, not all of them (the list doesn't have the new 110bhp Puretech for example which is cited elsewhere).

Looks like a light-touch facelift, just the way it should be - the blue looks fantastic, the new 'Mamba' wheels less-so.

The outside changes I'm not really sold on yet. The new rear Citroen logo given a black outline, doesn't really look right in my opinion.

The technology changes seem to be a further development of some of the existing tech. But instead of just warning you, it now seems to intervene on your behalf.

Hands free opening with a wave of the foot should be interesting.

Trouble is, no matter how much I would like one, mine isn't a year old yet, and by the time I can persuade SWMBO, knowing Citroen much will have been deleted!!!

Well,

I'm disappointed with lack of LED lights. They're even not available as an option...

Much prefer the look of the current single grill than the split grill.

Also will be interesting how they do the new models...as Exc + gets pretty much most of the toys. Not sure if they are moving towards a more of an option list even if you pick the highest spec one.

I should imagine they are moving to Touch, Feel and Flair - the literature on the interior trims does talk about the 'ambience' also doing equipment and one of them even cites 'Flair' specification.

I'm not sure anyone actually bought a VTR new (only hire companies who took a wodge of stock vehicles) it wouldn't surprise me to see Touch being somewhere between VTR and VTR+, Feel being comparable to Exclusive and Flair being comparable to Exclusive +, only time will tell as the order books open on 1st June so a brochure will likely be released at this point.
