Hi, we need some help/advice with recent updates to our eMyWay Satnav software. We had our eMyWay 'firmware software' updated to RT6 Audio NAV System Software version RNEG2.86.B.1 by our local Citroen deal and then purchased and downloaded the latest 2016-1 Full European Map from Citroen on to an 8GB USB stick We started the update this morning and chose to update the United Kingdom map only and after about 15-20 minutes when the map update had finished, we got a message saying "Update Complete" and the display went back to the database list of maps. As we did not want to update any more maps, we removed the USB stick and another message appeared saying something like, "incomplete media or damaged"? We then plugged in the speed camera updates and that completed successfully in 15 seconds. Ok, so before we updated the maps and speed camera's, we had the 'post code' field where we could only input 4 letters/digits but, after the update, the 'post code' field had disappeared so, as has been mentioned many times in this forum, the 'town field' should be used to put the post code in. So we did so and were able to input our full 7 digit/letter post code in and our road, city and county came up but, unfortunately, there was no 'number field' to put in the house number - with the 7 digit postcode, you need a house number to ensure that you are taken to the correct address. Anyway, we settled for that and started on our journey but, as we were getting close to our destination, the satnav said, "you have reached your destination" - not so, because there was no number input available, our so-called destination was about 75 yards from our actual destination. With regard to the speed camera updates, as we were approaching a speed camera on the left, we received no warning that we were approaching a speed camera? We also noticed that when we joined the motorway or dual carriageways, the speed limit was shown in the top right hand corner of the display but, it is not shown on roads with a limit under 50mph? Since the map update, we noticed that when we needed to leave a motorway, dual carriageway or come off another road, the 'lanes you should be in to leave the motorway' on to the 'slip road', are on the left hand side are flashing and highlighted but, on the eMyWay display, they were on the right hand side of the motorway road which is incorrect and means that you would have to cross 3 - 4 lanes which were not highlighted or flashing, to get to the slip road and leave the motorway. A photo of this setup would make it clearer but, hopefully any members who reply to my post will understand what I'm trying to explain. Any help and advice would be appreciated. |

I'm assuming you are talking about the top screen. On mine the speed limit is only displayed on a road that is shown in red. This means basically, you only get the speed limit displayed on trunk roads. Go on to a non-trunk A road, B road or other, and there is no speed displayed. However, when the limit is displayed, it is correctly displayed down to 30mph. I suppose 20mph limits are rare on trunk roads. |

Hi, it sounds like you have the current Grand Picasso model with 2 displays; 7" and 12". We have the previous model with the 7" display only and the eMyWay SatNav system. With regard to speed limits being displayed, perhaps it's different on the latest model but, so far, I've only seen speed limits displayed on the motorway and dual carriageways. With reference to the post code, as detailed in my original post, can you comment on the postcode input, what fields you and if you have the option to input the house numbers? |

The B78 2013 on is the new model. It should be in C4 Picasso/Grand Picasso Pre 2013 only. It's no big deal at all, however I understand the dilemma as yours is one of the last of the older model.

I think the model change was in 2013, so this section is for what is known as the B78 model, is yours the current shape or previous?
