Its taken a while, but I've discovered where the active radar cruise sensor is located on the C4P/GP (see photos below). There is an access flap to one side of the front lower grille which is removed to adjust it, but its useful to know for those of us that have it fitted.![]() ![]() |

Great stuff. Now all we need is for someone to find the sensors for lane departure and auto-dipping headlights!!!!

You recon if I get one module will be "plug and play"? Thanks |

It won't be plug & play, the car config will need changing in diagbox to tell the car it's fitted as a minimum. It may also need additional ECUs or a software update too

Hi usually lane departure warning uses a camera that is located infront of the rear view mirror stuck to the windscreen. There will be a triangular cutout of the backing. The auto dipping headlights will use a sensor in the same area or in the back of the rear view mirror i would guess as that is where they are on most cars.

I don't think that the sensor is located in the mirror. I have the vague recollection that I tried blanking the mirror off and the active cruise control still worked.

Haha! No, the radar sensor is the box located in the front grille, I was on about the lane departure warning and auto-dipping lights that are around the mirror location. Usually the blind spot monitoring has its sensors in the ends of the rear bumper too I forgot to add. (This is from a knowledge of Audi's) |
