Hi all. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a centre cap for the alloys on a C4 Loeb edition? I had 2 new tyres fitted and the garage who done the work cracked one centre cap when removing it. They never said anything, hoping I wouldn't notice but I know my car inside and out and I certainly didn't crack it. So I've told them to replace it. So I am trying to find one for them to purchase for me. They have not said that trey will replace it yet but I will be in their best interest to do so. As some of you are aware, my Loeb edition is number 0001 so I am hyper sensitive about my car for obvious reasons. The garage also said 'how do we know that is wasn't broken prior to the work'. AAAARGH!!!! Why do they always say this rubbish? Then the mechanic pressed the cracked, sticking out bit back together so that it was flush and said 'there you go, that's alright isn't it?' To which I replied 'NO CHANCE PAL!!!!' Shoddy! Anyway. Does anyone know where I could possibly get one in fairly good condition at all? Many thanks in advance for any help that you can offer. |

My guess is you need a visit to local Citroen dealer, who will probably need to order them. I've not got your VIN, but it looks like: 5421 45 Wheel Cap Badge (White) £30.31 + 20% VAT = £36.37 (I think that's for a pack of four.)

I have a black C4 Loeb edition so you are correct except for the wheel colour, mine are grey. The whole Citroen badge is chrome effect on grey background. I very much doubt the garage who damaged my centre cap will buy 4 unfortunately. I was really looking for a single one to replace the cracked one. Do you know if Citroen would sell one on its own? No probs if your unsure, I will contact them directly if you, or anyone else doesn't know. I'm sure I'm not the first person to ask this question. I need to resolve this fairly quickly so I really appreciated your speedy response. Thanks once more. |

The good news is the grey caps are slightly cheaper: £29.89 + 20% VAT = £35.87 Again, for a bag of four. Grey ones are in more demand. It has been known for a dealer to break open a bag and sell just one or two, for say a tenner each. You'll have to ask. They are several grey ones on Ebay, but usually used so you'll have check their condition. Prices vary from naff all to you must be joking. - Click Here - |
