What button to I need to press to determine the firmware version?

 Hi All

Is it the configuration button (the one with a large & small cog) which I press for a few seconds to make the system show the firmware version etc.
Other posts just refer to the settings button.

I'm on SMEG5.4A.R3 Dated 25/08/15

Anybody know if this is the most recent firmware?

 Yes that is pretty up-to-date. If everything is working correctly then I'd generally not worry.

There are a few new versions coming through on new cars (5.4.B.R6, 5.4.A.R3 and 5.4.B.R8). 5.4.B.R8 is the latest and is dated 01/12/15. It is very unclear what fixes are contained within these particular versions (probably improved Bluetooth functionality).

The new SMEG+iv2 system (now appearing on DS3, DS4, DS5 cars) is on v6.1.D.R8 and offers Carplay and Mirrorlink functionality, but is different hardware and not currently offered on the C4P/GP. You also cannot upgrade an earlier SMEG+ v4 or v5 unit to this either.

 I am due to pick up a C3 Platinum in the next couple of weeks. This is fitted with a 7" touchscreen. I wonder if this will have the mirror function !!!!

 Hi, here I am new to this forum but I have a problem, namely in terms of navigation to my DS4 of 2012. Software versions have RNGE2.1.G.5 and would like to upgrade to a newer version but I do not know I do it step by step ... please help and greet all....
