What is the best induction kit to buy for a VTS? And why are they so expensive?

Decent parts are expensive. You can do it cheap it just won't look as good. Aesthetics are part of the deal with it. Plus R&D and it's not a common car so prices are higher as a result.

However, my personally way to go would be a K&N typhoon kit. Some good reviews on site for them.

I've been looking at the typhoon kit really tempted to buy it and some nice black alloys. 18" would fit fine on this car.

I was thinking of getting a K&N Typhoon kit, but currently waiting to see if my car is written off. I have Wozza's old 18 inch wheels fitted.

Wheels are Team Dynamics pro race 1 2.The VTS was parked up in works car park last Friday and ground was really icy, you can guess the rest!
The insurance assessor came on Wednesday & said what a nice car, good condition etc. Still likely to be written off though!

Depending on how much I get for this one, either buy another or try & buy it back & have it repaired myself.

If you want a decet stance and don't mind some minor rubbing at absolute full lock (I was heavily lowered on coilovers) I ran those 18x8's with 20mm spacers. Effectively with the wider wheel and offset being essentially ET5 (Standard is ET25) I actually increased the track of the car by 80mm in total. So there is lots of room to be aggressive with it. An that was all with proper tyres and no daft camber etc. I had chunky tyres on there.

Got a sick C4 today. Having a leak fixed Tuesday, oil coming from the crankshaft seal £750 with a full service. Is this a issues other members have had?

I'm not really sure. All they said was the gearbox got to come out and I might need a new clutch if it's been contaminated.
