Took the 2005 VTR+ in for its MOT and it failed on the ESP/ABS light being on, put it on diagnostics and error code C1325 came up, N/S/R ABS sensor. Bought a new one and fitted it and the damn light is still on, any ideas? Could it be the wires leading to the sensor? Took the car round the block just in case but to no availe.

When I push the ESP button it doesn't light up, would a new switch help?

Going by the other posts that I've read I don't think so as the brake lights do work fine all the time but will change it anyway.

If it was brake light switch I would have thought that code C1384 would have come up as that's for the brake pedal switch.

Have you clicked on the words in red brake pedal switch and read the article?

New brake pedal switch fitted, tried it with and without the extra wire but the lights are still there, what's next?

Mines been sorted - fault code was C1325 (Left hand rear wheel sensor open circuit or short to earth or short to battery)and so it has been repaired whilst having the bonnet recall done. Only £110.
