Just topped up my adblue tank at 33k miles. Went to the local petrol station and bought 10l for £13.99. Was simple enough. Will try and upload pics late as to where it goes...but it's really straight forward. |

So fired up the car after the Adblue was added. Initially, it came up with the warning of 200 miles left. Then it jumped to 3100 miles left. Then disappeared. I pressed the service button and it showed that I had more than 1500 miles left in the tank before a refill. Pretty straight forward...definitely beats a trip to the dealers! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Just a small update as I've not had anything to really add! I've been fault free since my last update, just popping into Citroen for the usual services. Car is currently sitting on 51k miles with 10months to go before it turns 3. Luckily for me, my car is still on our company car list...which means I will be replacing it like for like when the time arises as this car has been fantastic for my needs! Just not sure whether to go for white again or Lazuli blue?!! |

Car has just had its 60,000 mile service and nothing huge to report. I started using philips Extreme bulbs, however they did not last long. When the last one died, there was no warning on the dash. Citroen has replaced it with their own one. I am no longer going to mess with the bulbs! They did the adblue tank lid change whilst it was in. Other than that it was pretty standard! While I was at the garage I took the 1.6hdi Flare out for a drive and was slightly underwhelmed by the engine. However, the savings from dropping the extra bhp is substantial due to being a company car! What is interesting while looking on the Citroen website today...it is no longer called a Picasso..but a Spacetourer! Also noticed there will be a new EAT8 gearbox coming out in June. So I'm going to delay my order as long as possible just incase any more new things come out before my change over which is mid November! |

Just read about the name change. Not sure what to make of it. I like the picasso name and the being different, quirkiness it stands for.

Yeah, I read it was to align their name with the bigger cars. However it really seems odd to see! I only got this information off the website, nothing was mentioned of it when I went for a test drive! I also noticed the new 2.0 will be 160bhp. Also I expect them to drop the 1.6 in favour of the 1.5 diesel pushing out 130bhp! |

They pay Pablo Picasso’s estate for the use of the Picasso brand, I suspect they’ve decided it’s money-wasted! The new 1.5 will be along shortly although it seems to be the 1.6 for now. |

Anyone know when the 1.6Hdi Auto Box is going to come out? I've just been on the configuration site and the only engines they have currently are 1.6 130bhp manual and the 2.0 160bhp auto! I'm currently in the process of ordering my next car, and due to tax hikes I'll be dropping down from the 2.0 to get the 1.6...but can't order it till its on the system! Grr! |

Cool, if its already on the standard one I'm assuming it will coming soon! Just rang Citroen Pre-Sales and the person was useless! Just kept talking about the old brochure...I even had to explain about the name change and how to navigate through the configuration site...and then he proceeded to tell me what engines he saw...which is what I was saying! He ended up saying I need to speak to the dealer! What a waste of time! |

Looking at the old price list, the BIK of the 1.6 Flair is 26%, the 2.0 is 28% - the 1.6 has a monthly tax rate of £142/ £259pcm, the 2.0 £159/ £290pcm (22/40%) - is it not worth the difference?

Unfortunately it's not just the Bik. As the vehicles are in the next company car band for my company I have to pay an upgrade fee! This significantly increases the gap between the two by almost 80 quid! With company car tax on the rise I've decided to go for the cheaper option.

Looks likes I'll be going for the 2.0 Eat8 now. Still no 1.6hdi auto available... So have to put my order in next week! Oh well...rather pay the extra for the auto than suffer with a manual considering the amount of miles I do.
