 Is there a way I can have the radio on withouy switching the ign on, I used to be able to that on my C5.

 Not if the car has gone into ' economy mode'. Before that you may get up to 30 minutes maximum before having to run the engine.

It's all been well covered on site over the years with multiple questions on the same subject.

The only way would be to change the switched live feed for a permanent one but you then run the risk of a flat battery if you forget to turn the radio off.
