Hi guys, I am new member in this forum and also a first time owner of the Citroen C4 (2006). My car is C4 Plus 1.6 HDi with 110bhp. I sincerely apologise for my ignorance if it annoys to any member of the group. please forgive me. well, lets come to the point. I have my cars child safety lock button on the driver's door. when i press the button i can hear a locking sound and see message on the screen child safety lock enabled but promptly i hear another sound of disabling. can anyone experienced this problem..what could resolve this issue? |

Is the button latching in when you press it? It should be raised when in the off position & almost flush with the rest of the switch panel when pressed in. |

When I press the button i just hear a locking sound but as soon as i move my finger it makes another sound which is unlocking..that's what it does, nothing else...and even there is no manually disabling system for the door which is very annoying. help me out guys..i need at least one of the back doors disabled from being opened inside and so as windows for the security reason of my handful baby girl. | ||

Yes, it should go down & stay down. Sounds like the button may be the issue. What happens if you press & hold it down? |
