I read the 2.0 vts front brakes go on the 1.6 VTR, do I need the callipers and carriers or just the carriers? I know on some other marques only the carriers need changing

Are the 2.0 vts rear brakes larger than the 1.6 VTR?

Are there any good Citroen breakers I can get the brakes from as I don't see many breaking on eBay

Thanks

2.0 VTS calipers are quite a bit bigger than the 1.6 versions, an also the larger discs are required.

302mm vs 266mm.

Rears, are the same across the range. Although I was always curious if the DS4 brakes could be bolted on. As they run a larger front and rear again.

Cheers wozza, I'll try get the full setup then, I'm doing an engine conversion so it won't be over braked, I see that quite a bit on other forums

Which engine are you going with? As the 3.0 V6 a lot of the components are a straight swap. IE drive shafts etc.

Overbraked, not really going to happen with anything standard size. I ran 330 or 340mm discs up front with a 10 piston Tarox caliper. Great on the road, an did brilliantly well on track. Tyres would be gone before the brakes.

It's a non Citroen engine so I'm having to make everything, was I looking at OEM upgrades just get something on there better than standard, I've seen some 4 and 6 pot kits I'll investigate after the engine is in and running
