I have a DS4 without Sat Nav and unfortunately the manual only seems to offer help on this situation for those with the Nav installed.

Basically, I feel that the incoming call sound that is made over the speakers when you have an incoming call is extremely loud and annoying so im looking to either decrease the volume/turn it off, or change the sound of it.

This still happens when the radio volume is quite low (I only have it on 6)

In the manual it shows you a menu that seems to do the above when you press the 'Phone' button however on my unit this button doesnt exist

When you are in a call, turn down the volume. This control only the BT volume.
