Were coming up to the 10th anniversary of the launch of the C4 Coupe and Hatch in the UK (is it really that long ago?) so I have dug out the original Press Pack images and uploaded them on site - Click Here -

I have also uploaded the original Press Pack in .pdf format which you can download - Click Here -

Enjoy

Certainly has flashed by. I had an original MKI C4 for four years and my second one, one of the first "nouvelles" for almost another four. Never had an unscheduled day off the road. Well over 100,000 miles between them and have been all over France, Andorra, Spain, Belgium, Germany and Italy. Terrific model!

I remember the tv ad's for the car, those 10yrs have gone by very fast. Have to agree with FakeConcern above, the styling of the car is still very much upto date and modern.

Does anyone know when the UK launch was? I'm sure if seen the C4 before but the first time it struck me as an attractive car was when we were on honeymoon in Cyprus, early May 2005 - it must have been in the UK before then but don't remember seeing one specifically.

Still a good looking car and, in my opinion, more attractive than the 2010 model (which is let down by the rear 3/4 view)

Launch was November 2004 and they 1st appeared in the UK in late 2004, my own car was registered in January 2005.

It looks like there were only 7 registered in 2004 and between 5-600 in 2005 - Click Here -

They didn't sell in vast numbers at outset which is why you wouldn't have seen one.

I remember Nick NWVT's VTS was on a 54 plate. Had to be a pretty early one.

My first one was brand new on a 55 plate, had that 3 years then got the VTS which only went a few months ago.

Still remember the old forum as well, entire forum for Citroens and the C4 section was busier than the rest of it put together.

At nearly 10 years old everything is going wrong with mine, just like any 10 year old car I have previously owned.

They do tend to get better as they get older as owners have usually fixed all the faults

I`ve just got my first C4, so well behind the loop, as it were.Fabulous car, the 1.6 diesel power is well impressive, very quiet and very comfortable..Lookswise?..each to their own I love the style and would`nt have a Focus given. I can see why you guys have stuck with them for many years

I think the Mark 2 is very similar to the BMW 1 series in looks.

I still love my C4 and cant say it enough
