Had my Loeb now 2 yrs and had no problems with it at all, only 28,000 on clock as I do not drive much due to my job as I'm a trucker so it only gets used to go to work and back and to see friends and family at weekends.

So now i'm thinking that some time in the near future that the exhaust will need replacing so was thinking of an after market sports one, not a normal Citroen. So what is out there and which is best for a little or big boost in power and sounds good but not over the top? Oh and it's a 1.6 version on a 08 plate in red.

I very much doubt that a change of exhaust will give you any noticeable increase in bhp.

No noticeable gains from just the exhaust maybe 3-5bhp, the noise makes it seem faster though I admit. If you do a full set of breathing mods such as induction kit, manifold and exhaust you may free up 20bhp or so.

I have used LongLife in Nottingham and I recommend them, you get loads of options with the sound and the finish. I went for a mid-sport with a twin 4" pipe. Just loud enough and pops, crackles and bangs nicely.

They have centres all over the country but do a bit of googling as the exhaust is only as good as the guy who made it! Also if you join as a premier member on here you get some discount from them too, enough to cover the labour to have the bumper cut for the pipes in my case.
