C4 pre 2011 dash gone white

Hi. I washed my dash and door plastics with the water and everything went white, full of white- blue marks and stains. Tried to clean it with the the soap and water but result is the same? HELP!!!

Wait, it should go. I had some stains and had to wait few days and they disappeared.

As Dominik says. Don't worry there have been plenty of post about that on here. Eventually it will return to normal you just have to be patient.

It's to do with the type of material the interior is made of, I use some interior sheen on a microfibre cloth and it looked great till it started to rain. However once it dried I just went over it with the microfibre and it came up a treat mate so as the others have said just give it a little time and it should be ok. if it doesn't give me a shout and I'll see what I can recommend mate

A lot of dash cleaning products contain silicon. When you add water it reacts (emulsification) and causes the cloudiness. Once the water evaporates off, the cloudiness disappears. If you can completely remove all traces of any previous silicon based products used on the dash and door cards, you won't have this problem again.
