Hi Guys, back again with another problem with my car. (Had to create a new user as couldn't find my old info!)

I have a list of problems, if anyone could tell me what the problem is with each one so I can dig up more info, it would be greatly appreciated.

The biggest issue is the car does not like to start. If I turn the key and turn the ignition on, and start the car, all in one key turn, the car will struggle, and 9/10 the radio will reset to 2003, in french, and KMH. Which means I have to sit there and put all the info in to get going. If I turn the ignition on, let all the lights come on and turn off, then start it, it usually struggles less, but still resets the radio about 10% of the time. Every time the car is started the front wiper blades wipe once, even though they are not on.

Also, the seatbelt warnings have gone haywire. I looked up this info but can't find an exact replica of my problem. Heres how it works at the moment:

Empty seat, seatbelt on, no warning.
Empty seat, seatbelt off, warning.
Person in seat, seatbelt on, no warning.
Person in seat, seatbelt off, no warning.

But, this doesnt happen 100% of the time. Which is even more confusing.

The brakes are squealing under slow gentle braking, all the pads, discs are new.

The boot door does not open itself. On all other cars I've owned, when you open the boot about half way the boot does the rest. On this C4 it does not. Is it just mine?

Im also getting a fair amount of wobble in the steering wheel. Originally reinflating the tyres (I had a slow puncture) helped reduce the wobble. But after a few miles it started again, and the tyres are all full.

Many thanks

Sounds like most of your problems are electrical and my first port of call would be a battery check because when a battery is starting to fail it can cause lots of silly problems.
Might be a loose terminal or maybe the earth strap needs fixing or just a duff battery.
The boot thing I don't get
Wheel wobble tracking or wheel balancing

The struts will probably need replacing, especially if it's a coupe with a spoiler on as they require heavy duty ones.

I'd certainly check the terminals on the battery are clean and secure, and also get the battery tested. Make sure the earthing to the chassis is good.

The reversion to French, 2003 and km/h is a sign the battery's been disconnected.
