I can't find any info on the Loeb numbers and wondered if anyone had any clue?

A couple of sites have said 400 and another said 1000 so I have no idea!

Cheers, Ric

It was originally limited, however it basically just turned into a full time model to be honest.

As they had 2 slightly different versions in the MK1 shape (can tell them apart by the spoiler full red is early version. Later one is red on top and black at the window)

Then you had the MK2 Loeb.

Only ones that were truly limited are the VTS variants to be honest. 180 VTS Loebs are likely the rarest of the lot with I think only around 20 being made.

Not sure how accurate this is, but How Many Left combined all Loebs shows 951 as a high point.

Regarding the numbers of the Loebs it's certainly a funny one!

Last month I created a post of all the Loebs we know of, can see it here:

I'm trying to keep it as up to date as I can, however gives a bit of an insight to Loebs that we've had registered on this site, but also spotted elsewhere on eBay or Autotrader etc.

Currently we've got a total of 139 on that list which are mostly from the UK but a few from abroad.

I don't suppose we'll ever properly know how many were sold, more of a "special edition" really as opposed to "limited edition"...

I'd be willing to bet there was a 1000 Loebs in the UK then I reckon. Their rare enough so that in the past 8 months of owning my black 2007 plate I've seen 2 other Loebs on the road and both were red

I'm sure you're right, but to be honest how many Coupes of any description do you see?

Scott Yellow 180 VTS are far, far, rarer than Loebs in the UK Tom. I have only ever seen 1 more beside yours.

In terms of limited numbers, there are only about 430 VTS 180s around (in UK).
Funnily enough the first C4 I drove was a Scott yellow VTS HDI, it was nice with full leather & spoiler but glad I didn't buy it now though.

I used to see No.2 (red) regularly in the carpark outside TK Maxx in Ashford and when looking for mine originally 3 years ago we saw No. 9 (red). Mine (No.5) will be on autotrader next month to make way for a new car.

I've actually seen more than usual in the last year or so in Northern Ireland. A live in a little village and there was another red loeb. The tech I go to has another one. I've seen another in Newtownards. Another one in Ballyclare Asda and one passed me miles from home yesterday. I try and keep a mental note of them so I know they're different ones by regs/no stickers/alloys etc

I currently own a 2008 C4 Loeb Edition in Black number 0001. Very proud indeed! Would put a pic on but it won't accept it. Live in Norfolk
