I'm picking up a 62 plate C4 on Monday. I use Deezer for all my music as I get a free subscription with my orange phone contract. Does anyone know if this works via the USB port ok? Or will it only play what is in my music library? Or, can you use the Bluetooth as a medium to play music? Cheers |

I've no idea what Deezer is but an iPad should link OK via both BT and USB. The sound will be better via USB, and it should power the iPad as well. |

Cheers for the reply. That is good to know. Deezer is an alternative to Spotify. You stream music through it, and can save it to play offline. Music can only be played through the Deezer app though. |

I doubt the radio will read the app. You may need to use the 3.5mm jack socket AUX input. |

Thbought as much. I'll give it a go anyways. I want to be able to control it via the stereo. Does the stereo only allow one device attached at a time? Or can it do two?

You can have USB and BT device attached simultaneously but you can only play one at a time. I have my iPod attached via the USB (very good) and my Galaxy S2 via BT. But there's no music other than demos on the S2. Can you save the Deezer tracks and then play them iPod style on the iPad? The RD5 works fine with iPods, and MP3s on a USB stick. |

You can download songs to play offline, but you can only play the song via the Deezer app. I'll find out tomorrow, so I'll report back. I'm guessing that it will work via Bluetooth, not via USB.

Well, sadly, it doesn't work via the USB port. It does through Bluetooth, but as it only allows one device at a time, that won't work either. However, I can use Deezer on my phone, so I can get around it that way. |

The C4 options are primarily iPod or MP3s on a stick. Any thing else is probably a non starter.

I've got an old iPod kicking about, but all my music is streamed on deezer now. I haven't bought a new CD in a couple of years because of it, so my music library is lacking.
