Hi there, I have recently had my Headlamp bulbs replaced by a garage, and have started getting a few flashes on the road suggesting that my lights may be out of alignment.

I have removed the plastic cap and it appears that the bulb / holder is placed in there without any clip to hold it in one place. This may be that a clip has been lost. Any ideas where I could buy a new clip? I have tried searching with not much luck.

Many thanks, Nigel.

Personally I'd go straight back to the garage that changed the bulbs and get them to sort it out FOC

You can't buy the clips separately (been well covered on site before) all you can do is make one or go to a scrap yard and look for something similar.

There are no clips to lose on the Picasso they are a turn fitting and they can be tight to get located properly.

They've either thought they'd done it - but hadn't, or given up and just "cocked a deaf un"

Thanks for clarifying Phil, I haven't tried to change a GP bulb and it sounds much easier than the Coupe and Hatch's

Exactamundo! I suspect they have not made the connection properly and somehow misthreaded it if the bulb isn't pointing in the right direction - I'd get a torch and mirror in there to see how it all fits together because once you've mastered it fitting bulbs is a cinch!

On the C4GP, there are 2 clips on opposite sides of the bulb. I reckon the bulb is only held in on one side & the wiring is pulling the bulb to one side.

Does the bulb look straight in the shroud?

Dipped beam bulb replacement - remove rubber cap and rotate bulb 1/4 turn clockwise then obivously reverse when fitting new bulb.
