Rear Parking Sensor fitting & wiring of my C4 1.6, e-HDi, B7, EGR, Seduction, built Dec 2011, I am only new on this forum and I'm really happy that I came across this forum of all you enthusiasts.

My problem is this, I have just bought this pristine C4 with only 23.5k's for a bargain and I want to fit it with a rear parking sensor kit (which I bought on ebay) for it and I have also copied and made a template of where these sensors should go from a friend’s C4 Exclusive’s rear bumper.

What I would like to know is how to wire this thing up. I know that I have to use the + from one of the reverse lights and ground it to the body. Does anybody have a diagram that he can pass on to me or can be more specific so that I don’t stuff it up. Thanks

In the boot on the wiring harness is a warning stating that no more than an extra 10mA can be drawn.

So you must use a relay, which means finding a (switched) fused live supply.

I'm not sure where the nearest such supply can be found - it is probably off the fuse box under the bonnet.

This guide is for the old range but shouldn't be a lot different: - Click Here -

The installation instructions for the Citroen parking aftermarket sensors state that the current warning can be ignored (for this accessory).

By the way, did you read my post on the installation of the genuine Citroen aftermarket front parking sensors on a 2012 B7. I think you will be massively unimpressed! - Click Here -

G, I was assuming the ebay kit was not a genuine Citroën accessory.
