A device to keep an inertia seat belt tight, so it's like one on an aeroplane.

Might be worth looking at a modified specialst Franklin.

Should really cost no more than about £30 to add springs.

Unfortunately it's nearly triple that Tom...! My age goes against me for insurance, but hoping to move to a more modification friendly specialist when my insurance is due for renewal in about four months time... Fingers crossed another years no claims (touch wood) and being a bit older will help things along...

It basically locks your butt to the seat. So you don't move around as much, your upper half will still move but you aren't fighting yourself to keep up straight in the seat. So lets you concentrate more on the way the car is feeling. Makes a big difference on track days if you can't go all out with a proper harness.

Try the usual ones, but seriously get a quote from need to insure. Few of the Monaro lads are insured with them. No issues with modified cars and they were half the price of my next lowest quote. Little over £600 with mods on the Monaro. I used to pay £900 for the C4! That's after my accident, with less than 12 months experience with the car.

Looks great!

With some hubcentric spacers that'll look even better too!

It looks great as it is, but just pushing them wheels a bit further out will finish it off I think.
