Ok so I couldn't sleep so decided to make a thread for my Loeb.

Since I first saw the Loeb design I had always wanted one, so when it came to wanting a new car I knew exactly what I wanted. I've now had her just under 18 months and have loved every minute of it. Not had any issues (yet) and she passed her MOT first time with no advisories.

She has a nice comfortable ride -
the cruise control makes life so much easier,

The power to mpg ratio was just right for what I needed -
Does between 40-60mpg at 60-70mph (however only does 9mpg when flat out)

Not so long ago I borrow my friends G-Tech meter and attempted a few 0-60mph runs. On average I was getting around 7.2 seconds, however one run was clocked at 6.9seconds which I was mega impressed with as it beat my mate in his Type R Civic :P (but to be fair to him he couldn't get the grip, just kept spinning the wheels on launch)

So far I've kept the car relatively standard. The only modifications so far has been the fitting of my personalised plates R10TVH, TVH being my initials and the fitting of a Forge Blow Off Valve. Which I love so far :P (but I'm a big kid)

Next modification will hopefully be a back box and tailpipe. But saving up to go Florida atm so that may have to wait.

Anyway here's a few pics for you:-

That is really smart, one of the few cars I would consider trading mine for!

Just a quick update, Car went in for her service yesterday, whilst it was there i kindly asked the nice mechanics to fit the K&N Panel filter i had bought about 6 months earlier and never got round to fitting for me, so thats now in , not really noticed any obvious difference, but the car does run smoother since the service

As you all may be aware the C4 was having a few issues with the timing chain, Turns out it was the tensioner as thought.
The garage I took it too were really good with me, even offered to lend me a car whilst they fixed mine
Anyway they changed the tensioner and it seemed to solve the problem.
total bill came to £207 tho so that's my exhaust money gone, best start saving again.

Excellent! Really looking forward to seeing what they're going to look like on the Loeb when fitted.

I believe they're the ones that I want to go for at some point, but at the moment I'm leaving them for the time being as I don't agree to paying my insurers a silly amount to add them as a modification...

Once you've got them fitted, I'd say get some hubcentric wheel spacers as the next mod and it'll make it look even better...

Looking forward to the pics...

Might be worth looking at a modified specialst Franklin.

Should really cost no more than about £30 to add springs.

Hopefully will be fitting them on saturday so ill get pics up next week for you all. Im honestly not expecting much of a drop as they are only 30mm lower. Just want them to hell prevent the horibble lean when cornering

I would guess the thp has the same suspension setup as the 180, it will lean a little but shouldnt be that bad, treat yourself to a CG lock. Makes a nice difference if you're giving it some stick.

+1

I got one of these for track days and it does make a difference. Don't use it day to day though.
