Hi Guys,
Just wanted to say hi as Ive just put a deposit down on a 2010 C4 Loeb in red.
Im new to the C4 model and forum but keen to keep up to speed with the model and learn as much as I can to keep it in A1 condition.

Many thanks to Citroening for giving me some initial heads up tips when I test drove a different machine last Saturday. Your thoughts were invaluable in my decision.

My partner and I wanted a sporty looking 3dr car that was safe, easy to drive with good mpg and in petrol with a not too high a buy price. We drove lots of new cars before settling on the Loeb.

I will keep you informed as to how I get on but so far have had a little nervous day as the dealer rang to say that my deposit was invalid!!

The car is in Cheltenham and Im in York so asked my local dealer of the same name to transfer it up here and by all account the salesman in Cheltenham spat his dummy on losing a sale.

all is good now though so waiting for the car to be transferred.

by the way the no. is 1725 so if you were the previous owner please say hello.
any feedback or tips are most welcome.

will post pics when I get it (cleaned of course!!)

regards,

Baz

Welcome Baz and no problems - glad to help!

Indeed the C4 certainly ticks the right boxes with what you wanted and hopefully you'll enjoy the car - I'm sure you will!

Looking forward to the pics...!

Hi,
Just an update as to how I am getting on with the Loeb purchase.

We are selling our house in order to get some monies to buy it and hopefully the monies will be through soon.

Ive been to see the car today at my local Citroen dealer and it looks like there may have been some issue with the rear bumper in its lifetime.

I noticed that there are uneven panel gaps where the bumper joins the body panels on either side.

The whole car is still needing prepped for sale and has a few chips and dirty interior.

I didn't get to see the salesman as he was busy but will call back sometime to have words.
