You can get an idea of what the car will have if you look on Citroen France

Citroen UK is lagging behind though.......

UPDATE: I have been told that you can order the new car from July in the UK with delivery scheduled for September 2013 when the official launch is.

Dealers should be getting a showroom model in another few weeks time.

I'm worried about those huge boot doors. How they will handle for everyday use? They look really large.

Also, don't like lack of stripes on side doors - to stop dirt coming up, and to protect from small impacts by other car doors on parking lots. To be honest, all manufacturers are going same route...

For those who say I wouldn't have another Citroen.....

The platform on which the C4 Picasso rides will be used by the next generation Opel and Vauxhall MPVs, as part of an agreement between GM and PSA Peugeot Citroen.

Should make for some interesting comments in the future

Well, I swore never to have another Vauxhall as I bought a brand new Astra thinking it have been made in Ellesmere Port aka "The Home of the Astra". When looked under the bonnet, everything said "Opel - Made in West Germany"!

Does it have a split rear hatch? Just noticed the line running across mid way up?\

I quite like it

There was a review in the Sun on Friday. Seemed to like it. It is a replacement for the C4 Picasso and not the Grand. That is due, apparently, at the end of the year.

I had a look on the configurator an Citroen.fr. The Exclusive seems to be offered only up to 1.6HDi, no 2.0 as the Sun implies, but it may differ for markets. Price seems very high with Exclusive at over 30000 euros.

The UK Specifications and Brochure are now available to download: - Click Here - (5 seat Picasso only)

Yes it's only in 1.6 Petrol or 1.6 HDi VTR, VTR+ or Exclusive form for the UK launch.

It's now on the CIT UK Configurator so you can all play: - Click Here -

Prices start at a recommended £17,000 up to £28,300 if you look at a C4 Picasso e-HDi 115 Airdream ETG6 Exclusive+ with all the options including full leather and Xenon headlights

Took my 2012 Picasso in for it's first service the other day and parked it next to a picasso B78 demonstrator. Not immpressed, mine definately looked much prettier. I spoke to some of the garage staff and they said the same, and the boss said 'it is a mistake'.
The two console top lockers are missing, the pretty curved line of the top of the rear door has gone - just like the old grand picasso. The rear spoiler is not so obvious and looks unimpressive. The headlights are much smaller and not so 'in your face'.
It looks too much like the competition now.

I had a look at the new Picasso yesterday. I saw a VTR+, and I was quite impressed. The brochure shows an impressive list of new features, particularly for the Exclusive+. One particular new feature is that the new HDi 2.0 has an AdBlue system to reduce nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gases to achieve Euro 6 status.

Apparently AdBlue is a solution of urea in waterwhich is pumped into the exhaust system at ~2% of the diesel consumption rate. I have seen AdBlue at various filling stations, so it looks like an occasional top-up of another tank will be required.

I was told that it could be the end of blocking exhaust filters, but I see that as a different issue, and I wonder whether there will still be problems with an Eolys system.

The more cr*p the EU insist on being fitted to cars to reduce emissions the more likelihood is that something will go wrong.

Why do you need a separate pump for AdBlue when you could just pee into the tank

Me, if I was in the market for a new C4, I would be buying a petrol variant with far less maintenance to do and things to go wrong.

The emissions regs have lost their way. Only carbon waste is considered because it's the basis of VED.

This Euro VI sounds awful especially as current diesel exhaust cleaning is not reliable enough.
