Hey everybody iv just recently set myself up on this forums site. I own a 2010 1.6 thp 150 c4 loeb in black and wanting to fit a boost gauge to it, could somebody point me in the right direction or guide me to where i put the t-piece and vaccum pipe and where i can feed the pvc tubing through the bulkhead. if anybody's succeeded on doing this task it'd be much appreciated if explained to me. Also iv been wanting to fit a dump valve to it, now iv been told that some dump valves can cause the electronics to go crazy as such putting the engine management lights on or lack of power etc. so could somebody help me with that please, many thanks... Trav. |

Unfortunately I cannot help with your queries... But, you lucky lucky man - very rare cars are the Black Loebs with the 150THP engine, most are the 120 VTi like mine... In the future I would definitely like to try and upgrade to the 150 THP... I see your in Mansfield - fancy popping down to the CCC X Rally? Should be a good meetup and would be great to get another Black Loeb there! - Click Here - |

There's a lot of very knowledgeable people on here so hopefully they will be able to help! That said there's not a huge amount of THP owners on here I don't think which is a shame. If you don't get any luck on here then it might be worth having a look over on the DS3Club as there's a good base of owners that like their modifying, with the THP being more common on the DS3 - I suspect that there won't be too many differences. Well the Loeb's themselves are pretty rare to see being the special editon, with most of the facelift cars having the VTi 120 engine. Looking around the 150 THP is considerably less common! Having owned the Facelift and pre-facelift cars I must say I prefer the facelift cars. See the link in my signature below for the thread about my Loeb. Excellent, would make some good pics too as aesthetically our cars are exactly the same! 5 Weeks today... |

Dump valve, why? If Citroen felt the car needed one it would have been factory fitted. |

Plenty of aftermarket valves for that engine specifically in fact. Forge make one for example. Gives it a little more noise, and they really do need something to improve the noise they make. Not the nicest sounding petrol engines around as standard. |

I know where your coming from mate, ive always thought myself its missing a nice little sneeze between gear shift. I own a 2010 red thp 150 myself and have thought it could do with one. Correct me if im wrong, but isn't the THP the same engine that bmw use in the mini cooper s? might be worth checking out a few mini sites if this is the case ![]() |

Personal Opinion - Dump valves are so marmite and not necessary unless the car is in such a high obvious state of tune or ploughing through the hills and forests of South Wales. A bit too "showy" for me..."a bit Subaru" |

Good news for the thp owners. The above blow off valve fits and works perfectly ![]() Although its not for everyone. It doesn't half put a smile on my face when I hear it dump :P |

You need to post a video! Also forge have this for a boost gauge. - Click Here - Will make fitment possibly a bit easier, noticed they have induction setups as well. Open filters, could get quite a bit more turbo noise through. |
