I've had my coupe since the beginning of last Dec. Really enjoying it however I'm itching to add my own personal touches.

Been thinking about painting the brake calipers but a little stuck as to what colour.

Was thinking just gloss black, clean and tidy! But on the other hand wanting something that stands out. But not Red, there not Brembo's.

Any ideas on what colours would suit?

Also want to get a Leon splitter!

Nice car. I think you need a new tripod though

I have been thinking about this too. As I have a black car I am thinking Kawasaki green, but am undecided.

Can think what colour would go with yours tho.

Cheers, why a tripod?

I'm not a fan of green personally. Orange? Hhmmm

Judging by your first photo it looks like your old one is falling over.

Have you any other colours on your motor to match in with?

I painted my Calipers green on my black c4 I thought it was a good contrast on the c4 although with resolfen wheels you don't see alot I will take a picture of them tonight if there's enough daylight about out there.

And I bought caliper paint on eBay can't remember the brand but it comes with a brush brake cleaner and the paint. It was about £15 and I've painted my Calipers twice and barely made a dent in the tin of paint

No other colour going on other then black. I've painted calipers in the past using hammerite, but brushing it on rather then using the spray cans. Sticks well.

Blue maybe?

Paint the callipers the same colour as your car and stencil the Citroën chevrons on in white.

How do you stencil the chevrons on John?
Is there some kit or something for doing this?

Is this a VTR... and in Iron Grey?

If so, I'd paint them yellow, then purchase 2 C2 VTR badges...

and stick them on your bump strips where the VTS badges go. Think yellow looks good on iron grey and the VTR badges would set it off.

That was my plan with my old VTR anyway

I remember JC doing it on his C4GP way back but can't find the forum post (or images) of it.
