Hi

I have a new DS4 DStyle. My Samsung Galaxy Phone works well with the Bluetooth but only a few of my contacts are showing in the Directory. My contacts are all stored in Google and sync'd to my phone, I do not hold any contacts on either the Phone or the Sim card. Only once when I have connected my phone did all my contacts download but since then only contacts beginning with M, N,O and P download.

I have tried breaking the connection and resetting everything but it still only shows this small number of contacts.

Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks in anticipation.

Sorry not sure but it's the standard Dstyle - there is no SAT Nav or upgraded Hifi. Where would it specify the system?

Thanks for your help.

I have a C4 with Nav.

My personal phone is a Nokia, and it works fine, the wife has an IPhone 4, also works fine. I previously had a Blackberry, and that worked fine. My company has changed phones to the Galaxy S11.

It takes over 5 minutes to sync contacts and in that time, if I receive a call, its 50/50 whether it will allow me to take the call, and I cannot make a call, as the whole system, Nav / Radio / Bluetooth system crashes and resets.

It's got that bad, I now have the company SIM card in an old Nokia phone. Sad but true!!!!!

Oh dear that doesn't sound good. I might try my husbands iphone and see if that works better. This could be a good excuse for a new phone.

Thanks for your help.

How did you get on? I just got my DS4 and it too has eMyWay and I noticed some of the contacts were not syncing properly. I think it may have something to do with the 400 contact limit that the eMyWay can store. So I used it as an excuse today to tidy up my address book on Google and "archive" those contacts I just don't use for a while. I have trimmed it down considerably and will try to re-sync again later today!

The basic radio in the DS4 looks like an RD5, the same as in my nouvelle C4.

I can't say I've had any problem with bluetooth and my Galaxy S2 - rather the opposite, it responds quickly and works really well. I don't have over 400 names in my address book though, maybe 50 or 60… And it shows names with multiple numbers (e.g. mobile, home, work, &c.) in a folder/tree format.

Hi

I didn't get on very well. I tried my husband's iPhone and that worked OK. I have since got a replacement Samsung but that is doing the same thing. I have nowhere near 400 contacts probably less than 100. I just get the first 10 or so. Please let me know if you find a solution. It drives me nuts.

Thanks

Update on my bluetooth integration on my DS4. Just got a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini. I do have an improvement - I now get most of my contacts available but there are odd ones missing. For example I have 18 contacts beginning with J but I only get about 8 or 9 of them. Also I have 1 contact beginning with V but do not get this one at all. Just to confirm all my contacts are stored in Google and I have about 100 contacts. Any ideas please let me know.

Thanks

I am having the same problem with my C4 HDi VTR+. I am using a Samsung S3 Mini and I have 267 contacts but not all of them will sync with the in-car display.
Does anyone have an answer. Is it a Samsung problem or is it a Citroen problem?

Hope someone can provide a solution to this frustrating problem.

Hard to say - square peg, round hole.

An update on mine. I persuaded our IT guy to swap my handset for a HTC Windows phone. All the issues I had with Samsung have now gone. Not sure if it was android or Samsung issue.

I think it's an Android issue. Having said that my Galaxy S3 on 4.3 pairs and syncs perfectly with my DS4.
