 Just a quick update in that I've now sourced a few more bits and pieces for the yet to be fitted stereo upgrade.

Managed to get hold of some new front speakers today from a friend which are Focal Components. They retail for big money new however couldn't say no especially as they've hardly been used in his car and are the correct size for the C4.

Not taken any pics of them yet however they're the woofer , tweeter and crossover, as per library pic...

Not going to fit them yet until I've got the rest sorted out, but still planning the OEM+ theme of things which is starting to come together now...

Plan is to have the audio side of things done for the Nationals in May. Not sure if I'll have suspension done by then too, but you never know...

 Which model of Focals have you got and what you going to be running them from?

 From memory Tom they're the Focal 6K2P K2s.

Not finalised that at this moment in time, although obviously going to be run by a good amp due to the nature of the speaker.

 Knew they were K2's just wasn't sure of the specific model.

Some nice sounding kit for sure though, also rather expensive new too. Going to want a nice amp and a decent headunit to do them justice. Would also recommend you get some sound deadening and do the doors properly.

 Thanks Tom, indeed I've been hankering after getting hold of them from him for a little while now...!

Yes quite true, going to do a proper job when the time comes. Hopefully make a nice and worthwhile upgrade. Going to wait until I've got everything I need and then upgrade it all at once.

The difference should be...ahem..."noticeable" compared to the standard system...!
