Apologies for not putting this thread up earlier - it's been a while! As you may/may not have seen here - Click Here - I had the opportunity to 'upgrade' to the facelift Loeb in Black from my Sport Red one. Further on down the page here - Click Here - you can see I decided to go for it, and changed the insurance over! Having driven it for about three weeks now I'm really liking it and more than the red one. I personally prefer this later BMW/PSA engine which has nice power and IMO a better sound than the TU variety found in the pre-facelift car. It's been interesting having owned now both pre-facelift and facelift cars, and they both have their plus points. Reading comments on here the vast majority of people were all against the facelift which is perfectly fine as it is down to personal taste of course, however living with both has been interesting. Overall, the facelift car wins. The fact that it's that bit newer definitely helps (57 to 10 Plate) and that is evident through driving both. The interior differences was a hot topic on here however I must admit to preferring the facelift interior. I agree that it's toned down with no leather/suede however it doesn't need it. The 3D Mesh with the red highlights work really well and still looks really smart. Both have the stitched chevrons on the headrests which is a nice touch, and the facelift has the Loeb Plaque under the heater controls. Exterior-wise I'm loving the Black with Black combination. Really smart IMO and I've had so many comments from mates too - they too prefer it to the Red car. The side graphics are of course going to be marmite, however I 'love' them... The Red Loeb is going up for sale on the usual places imminently - it has done me sterling service and as you can see, only selling due to the 'upgrade'. It is still a cracking car and if you're interested, drop me a PM. Below are a few pics - I'll endeavour to get some more tomorrow as these are crops... I can see me keeping this Loeb for a good while, the only reason why I wouldn't is to upgrade to the facelift Loeb with the 150THP engine... |

Nice looking car but ..... the red is a show stopper. Absolutely love proper red cars, couldn't find one when I wanted one, ended up with wicked red which the car was right and the colour nearly right.

Oh I agree, the Sport Red cars are very very nice indeed. If this Black Loeb didn't come up I would have been more than happy to keep the Red Loeb. If you like it that much, then you should buy it... |

Very nice, a mean looking c4. Would you be tempted to tint the rear windows? As for the design on the side, it really is a love/hate one. I like it, but would liked it to have come over the quarter panel aswell, but thats just my view. |

Looking good mate. I have always loved the graphics on the facelift models. I contemplated getting some put on my pre face lift but never got around to it. Jamie |

I've not thought about it TBH, however now you come to mention it, that could look very nice. A lot of Black... They could have continued them along the rear quarter I agree, however maybe too much... southwestsurfer wrote ... Looking good mate. I have always loved the graphics on the facelift models. That was me and I really like the red highlights. It's less in your face than the other one, but still really stands out from any other car. I see you use the seat belt holder/clip things, I tried them, but usuallt just leave the belt over the seat itself! Thanks for the pics, I'm sure it will get a load more favourable reviews!

Aha, thought it was someone...! Indeed, slightly different to the pre facelift seats however I think more modern looking and goes with the rest of the car very well too. Admittedly not got leather or suede, however that hasn't really bothered me...! Yep I do try to use the clip, as when it reels in its a bit far to reach each time - not that I can't reach (!) just that its easier to have it rest on the clip - convenient! |

Those seatbelt clips, are they meant to stay out then? As in my car (56 plate) they just spring back with the clips to pull the seat forward for passengers to get into the rear, so deem pretty useless. Is it just mine?

They should all be the same... I thought the same with mine to start with, however when pulling them forward don't be afraid to pull it with some force so they "click" into place... Almost go past the 90 degrees when you think "that's far enough"... |
