Hi,
I have a 2004 C4 HDi 1.6

I recently had the P1351 code and after lots of help here and my diesel mechanic looking at it we decided it was an injector. I bought a reco injector and put it in and the car instantly run a lot smoother, the car at 1000rpm would shake real bad and with new injector was perfect.

Now probably 2 months on every now and then I get a little beep and the "service" light comes on momentarily. I have check the logged faults and its only the p1351 still there.

I tried clearing it but stays there. When I took it to the mechanics he check the glow plugs first before checking injectors. I didn't get the new injector programmed in and I swapped another injector around could this small calibration issue be it.

Thanks in advance.

I have had P1351 fault for about 1 year and it refers to the faults glow plug or relay and my Citroen specialist told me not to worry about it as it is probably a faulty glow plug and the car will still operate fine which it does, as changing the plugs on a 2.0 hdi is a nightmare of a job.

i was going to change the glow plug relay to see if it cleared the fault and probably will eventually, but as far as i know that fault code does not relate to a faulty injector but maybe im wrong?
