I appreciate this is probably a real easy question for someone. However, I need to get a replacement part which I have now been told three different names for.

On the front of the C4 hatch (2006-if it makes a difference) is a three part grille. Long middle bit and two where the fog lamps WOULD go, if I had them.

I have a stone hole in one of these and need a replacement part.

So far been told it is a trim panel, a fog lamp trim panel and simply the grille.

Tried searching G for all of these to no real avail. Can anyone tell me what I should be searching for and if there are any good suppliers other than Citroen main dealer of course.

Thanks

Genuine Citroen trim parts and panels will only be sold officially by Citroen dealers and authorised parts distributors. You will find new and 2nd hand parts on eBay, but if you haven't found the part you need there, then you either need to go to a dealer parts counter, or have a rummage through a breakers yard.

The item you are looking for is a Bumper Finisher. They come as a pack, left and right together. Part No. 7414JS

Is that the straight 'non-sports' grille, Chris? Blairsp's C4 sounds like it might be an LX, with no fog lamps, which would have the straight grille of the SX.

As John says posting a pic would be the best option and at least an appropriate part number can be retrieved. The part however would only be avaliable from two sources, Citroen or a 'scrappy'.

The problem is there are many variations of the "grill" due to specs and apropriate trim levels and the discussion could confuse you more than you already are...

Post a pic with details and we can go from there....

The pic on Citroen Service appears to be the non-sports bumper (I have the sports bumber on my VTR+ which has the splitter vents under the left and right sides). The diagram does not have this.

However, as always, the OP needs to consult a dealer with their VIN in order to secure the right trim part. Hopefully having the right name and Part No might help them move it along, as I know from experience how clueless and unhelpful the parts desk staff can be at some dealers when requesting unusual trim bits.
